This adorable village, a painter’s paradise, has preserved an interesting architectural ensemble made up of many 18th and 19th century houses, the Saint-Martin church and its cemetery, the presbytery, the banal old mill as well as the “Trou des Fées” (Fairies Hole), an exceptional witness of the geological times of the Tertiary era.
At Chassepierre, the Florenville-Bouillon road dominates the village. At this spot, it offers a magnificent panorama formed by one of the most graceful loops of the Semois river.
