General conditions of use of the website and the services offered

The mission of Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie is to preserve and enhance the quality of the heritage of the villages of Wallonia. The ASBL Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie is legally responsible for the site and the services offered by the site https://beauxvillages.be/. 

ARTICLE 1. PURPOSE

The purpose of these GCU is to determine the conditions of access and use, by the Internet user, of the site and/or the services. Access to the site and consultation of the information it contains implies that the Internet user accepts without reservation all the provisions contained in these GCU.

Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie is the owner of all the intellectual property rights of the site, as well as all the industrial property rights of the elements it contains (logos, brands etc.). Consequently, in accordance with the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code, any representation, reproduction, modification, distortion and/or total or partial exploitation of the site, its content and/or services, by any process whatsoever and on any medium whatsoever, without the express prior authorisation of Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie, is prohibited and constitutes an infringement of copyright.

Similarly, any unauthorised use of the site, its content and/or services will engage the criminal and civil liability of the Internet user on the basis of copyright infringement.

The Internet user and Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie undertake to do their utmost to try to settle amicably any dispute that may arise from the execution of the GCU and more generally from the use of the site or the services.

In the absence of an amicable solution within thirty (30) days of notification by registered letter (to the address of the ASBL Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie, Rue Haute 7, 5332 Crupet, Belgium) by one of the parties of the need to seek such a solution, any dispute between the Internet user and Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie relating to the validity, conclusion, interpretation or execution of the GTU will be submitted, depending on the nature of the dispute, to the competent court.
