The central point of the village, the collegiate church of Saint-Hadelin is one of the most beautiful examples of Romanesque architecture in the Mosan.

Built in the 11th century and renovated several times, the old collegiate church is surprisingly homogeneous. The imposing monument, made of limestone and sandstone, spreads out from its high tower to end in a cascade of volumes.

The Romanesque architecture can be seen in the harmonious rhythm of the semi-circular windows framed by blind stone arches.

Inside, the choir and its “cul-de-four” (quarter sphere) vaulted ends tell the story. Under the tower and the choir, the presence of two crypts, which once housed the relics of Saint-Hadelin, contributes to the high heritage value of the building, which is recognised as an exceptional heritage of Wallonia.
