Are you ready for a pleasant 3.6-kilometre walk in Ragnies?
The centre of the village stands out in the rural landscapes known as Blanchamps, Cocriamont, Gravelotte, Champ du Marais or Champ d’Hymnée. The discovery of the Saint-Martin church invites you on a journey! The remarkable oak stalls have their counterpart in a very similar church in Cockayne, England. What the “ragnicoles” are most proud of are the large limestone and brick farms on the outskirts of the village. Genuine little villages with houses, barns, stables, stables, workshops… These large farms have name like: Spanish House, Courtyard Farms, Rose, …
No doubt you will not be able to resist the pleasure of tasting the products of the famous Biercée Distillery or, close to the village, the cheese and beer of the Aulne Abbey. Cheers!
