An event not to be missed!

What about our beautiful villages?

After this visit, how about a trip to one of our beautiful villages nearby, in the Pays de Herve for example?

In the heart of our rural heritage, the material “STONE” often occupies a place of choice.

The subsoil and the stone extracted from it have shaped the face of the 8 agro-geographical regions (also called landscape regions) within which the villages of the “Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia” network are located. Limestone, sandstone, shale, Gobertange stone, Bajocian limestone, Poudingue stone, etc., STONE adorns many buildings and contributes to the heritage and urban coherence of our “Beautiful Villages”.

Les types de pierre dans nos Beaux Villages: Calcaire bajocien appareillé ou non en Lorraine – Grès en Condroz
