NEW/ Art trail "Six steps to Art between Samson and Lesse"

On the initiative of the Asbl “Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie” and in collaboration with the communes of Andenne, Gesves, Assesse, Onhaye, Anhée and Houyet, the project “Six pas vers l’Art entre Samson and Lesse” (“Six steps to Art between Samson and Lesse”) aims to create an “Art Trail” between 6 labelled villages in the Condroz: Thon-Samson, Mozet, Crupet, Falaën, Sosoye and Celles.

With contemporary art as the main theme, this new circuit takes you through six beautiful villages that are “ambassadors” for the entire region. By car, bicycle or, why not, on foot, you can discover both the works of art and the rich heritage of the villages! Discover the Condroz, its magnificent landscapes, its authentic flavours and its preserved built heritage. The route with GPX tracks will follow soon.

(Location: Rue de la Résistance in 5340 Mozet)

• «Le cœur de Falaën» by Elbe (Laurent Berbach) in Falaën (Onhaye)

(Location: Porch of the Saint-Léger Church, Try des Bruyères in Falaën)

• «L’eau de vie de Sosoye» from Norska (Alexandre Rossignon) in Sosoye (Anhée)

(Location: Pont du Ravel, rue du Marteau in Sosoye)

• «Va Chemin» by Pierre Courtois in Celles (Houyet)

(Location: Chemin de Croix linking the Collegiate Church of Saint-Hadelin to the Hermitage of Saint-Hadelin, Cachette in Celles)

The project will end in 2023-2024 with the installation of the last work in Crupet (Assesse).
