Ny: stones and fountains
Nestled in the heart of a wide valley with wooded ridges and two streams, the village subtly blends stone and water.

Are you ready for a walk in the heart of Ny?
The centre of the village has a traditional rural habitat where the light and dark grey colours of the stones and roofs alternate in subtle harmony. The long limestone houses and farmsteads, which border the street rather loosely, conceal here and there half-timbered and brick gables. As you walk through the streets of Espinette, the Fontaines and some of the nearby alleys, your eyes will be drawn to the many examples of 18th and 19th-century architecture that will cross your path…
The church and the imposing farmhouse castle, both of which mark the historical centre of the village with their history and architecture, are particularly attractive. Not conquered yet? Well, you will be when your journey, taking you from the village centre to the surrounding green countryside, will deliver you amazing elements of the small popular heritage.
