Chardeneux offers a rural setting of crops and pastures in an undulating landscape of ridges and valleys.

With its southern exposure, the village borders a small valley where a peaceful stream flows, crossed by the old wash-house bridge.

With its narrow streets, limestone buildings, rural atmosphere and countryside punctuated by hedges, Chardeneux has preserved its typical ancient character.
