Old nail factory in Olne
Reminiscence of an old village activity.
Reminiscence of an old village activity.
Here is a house that bears witness to an old activity carried out by the villagers, in addition to their main trade: nail-making.
This specific craft was carried out in small forges often installed in the basement.
With its large cellar entrance opening onto the pavement, this late 18th century limestone building still bears the traces of this former activity.
