17th century seigneurial residence coupled with a farm, in the immediate vicinity of the church.
In the feudal era, the presence of a seigneurial residence coupled with a farm, in the immediate vicinity of the church, was a common configuration.
In response to the conflicts that ravaged the region in the 17th century, the Scheiffard de Mérode family erected the half-turret pierced with harquebusiers and the porch guarded by two transverse bays marked with their coat of arms.
The gates open onto the countryside, flanked on the right by outbuildings and an 18th century dwelling, and on the left by a house built at the beginning of the last century.
