A land of history, the life of the village is inseparable from the seigneury of Barbençon.
A land of history, the life of the village is inseparable from the seigneury of Barbençon.
From its illustrious castle, the vestiges of the entrance gatehouse and the high surrounding walls remain.
On this former fortified promontory, surrounded by an island of trees. a neoclassical residence was erected and now reflects in the waters of the lake.
Beyond this precious architectural heritage, the hike through the Barbençon area will allow you to admire not only its beautiful lake and majestic trees but also one of the last remaining native yew locations in Wallonia!
Ce circuit vous est proposé en partenariat avec l’Office du Tourisme de Beaumont.
