Lompret: meanders of the Eau Blanche
In the heart of a narrow meander of the Eau Blanche, the small village of Lompret emerges in a site shrouded in greenery.
In the heart of a narrow meander of the Eau Blanche, the small village of Lompret emerges in a site shrouded in greenery.
The high cliff of Franc Bois has watched over the village and the remains of the feudal castle since ancient times.
The suggested walk takes you through a natural environment full of calm and diversity, where the forest valleys combine harmoniously with the white waters of the rivers. A rare feature is that the walk takes place almost entirely in a Natura 2000 site included in a Landscape Interest Area.
So take a stroll, admire the winding meanders, the limestone lawns, the native yew trees, and the restored old orchards and enjoy the scenery!
