The Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia

The association “Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie” (The Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia) was founded in 1994 by Mr Alain COLLIN (who lived in the village of Chardeneux-Somme-Leuze at that time) to promote the identity of the rural regions of Wallonia. The diversity of its landscapes and traditional buildings constitutes an exceptional privileged natural and architectural heritage that the association seeks to preserve and invites people to discover. Today, it consists of a network of 33 label-bearing villages among the 8 landscaped regions of Wallonia.
