Discover Saint-Remy-Geest along a 2.7 km route!
Immerse yourself in this hillside environment in the far south, where time seems to stand still. Dotted with old farms and a preserved traditional habitat, the locality is organised around the church of Saint-Remy. The building is made entirely of Gobertange stone, like most of the buildings in the village, and stands proudly on its promontory. The majority of the houses and farms have retained their original structure along the two main streets. A third transversal road connects these two streets and races towards the valley floor, where one finds marshy meadows, groves of trees and old orchards. Bordered by willows, tall trees and sunken paths descending into the valley, this green setting surrounds the village, constitutes a natural heritage of interest, and ends up bewitching its visitors!
Nearby, at the Genville mill, nature is waiting for you! During the high season, a summer café welcomes you to enjoy the quietness of the place. So what are you waiting for to take to the trails and marked paths? Head for Saint-Remy-Geest and its neighbours – Mélin and the hamlet of Gobertange – to discover the nuggets of the “White Valley”!
