On the banks of a river, Vierves-sur-Viroin is embellished by the green meadows and limestone hills surrounding it. In a panorama chalked out by the Viroin, this hillside village is an integral part of the Viroin-Hermeton Nature Park.

A prominent counterpoint in the landscape is the majestic Castle of the Counts of Hamal dominating the village, which cascades down to the valley floor. This pleasant walk will allow you to discover the region’s natural riches.

Between the so-called “calcicole” lawns which shelter exceptional fauna and flora with Mediterranean scents, airy valleys and forest plateaus, enjoy this beautiful nature!
