Torgny is the southernmost village in Belgium, and its Provençal atmosphere is boosted by the vineyards, the red-tiled roofs of the eighteenth and nineteenth-century houses, the traditional communal wash-house and the series of roadside crosses around the village. It offers a variety of different types of accommodation, a bistro and a restaurant serving local specialities, and makes an excellent base for exploring the beautiful countryside on both sides of the French border. Guided visits in English are available by prior reservation with the Torgny Tourist Information Office.
