Classified as a historical monument, the “Grande Fontaine” washhouse dominates the top of the street.
With a square floor plan and covered by a perfectly preserved wooden framework, the limestone building contains two large basins and opens outwards in part.
A favourite place for women to meet, the latest news of village life was told and commented on around the washhouse!
