Practical information

Entre octobre et décembre 2020, les « Arènes du Territoire » ont été organisées par les huit Maisons de l’Urbanisme, à l'initiative du Gouvernement Wallon et du SPW-Territoire, dans le but de réfléchir aux enjeux touchant l'aménagement du territoire wallon. Ces débats en huis clos autour d'un groupe d’acteurs du territoire se sont focalisés sur les enjeux de la réduction de l’étalement urbain et du zéro artificialisation fixés dans la Déclaration de politique régionale 2019-2024. Lors de la séance plénière de clôture du 19 avril dernier, chaque Maison de l’urbanisme a eu l'opportunité de présenter la conclusion de ses travaux menés au cours des Arènes locales. The association Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie (The Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia) oversees a network of 32 villages, bearers of a strong territorial identity and reflecting traditional architecture. It is committed to promoting the rural, cultural and natural heritage of Wallonia and is a part of the development of local and responsible tourism.
