The Nature Park of Attert

Description

The Nature Park of the Valley of the Attert regroups the 17 villages and hamlets.of the entity and it is wide 7.195 ha. It borders the Forest of Anlier in the Ardennes and the cuestas of the Belgian Lorraine, which makes it has a great nature diversity. The Nature Park of the Valley of the Attert was created in 1994. It is located on the whole entity of Attert, and this makes it is wide 7095 ha. It is located half way between Arlon and Martelange and it borders the Forest of Anlier in the Ardennes and the famous cuestas of the Belgian Lorraine. It is this originality that makes it has a great nature richness. A nature park is a rural territory with a high interest for biology, landscapes, and heritage, which is subjected to measures that aim to ensure a lastable development in harmony with what its people want and with the social and economic development of the area. The marked walks that cross the valley are a good way to discover the varied landscapes and the 17 villages and hamlets the Nature Park is made of.
