Partner meeting: Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia – Most Beautiful Villages of Japan<\/p>\n\n

This 15.09, the association of the Most Beautiful Villages of Japan went to meet the House of Urbanism of the Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia. \n \n<\/p>\n\n

During a videoconference rich in exchanges, we presented the different actions carried out by our House of Urbanism but also shared our mutual experiences. \n<\/p>\n\n

It was also an opportunity to present the missions carried out in general by the 8 Walloon Town Planning Houses, as well as the issues related to the development of the Walloon territory and the preservation and enhancement of the rural heritage of our Beautiful Villages! \n \n<\/p>\n\n

Exchanges and discussions revolved around the legislation in force and the respective tools in terms of spatial planning, as well as the links between urban planning and sustainable development. \n \n<\/p>\n\n

The team of the Maison de l’Urbanisme des Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie would like to thank the association of the Plus Beaux Villages of Japan, as well as all the participants in this videoconference, whether they are members of the Japanese Quality Commission, mayors or inhabitants of Japanese Plus Beaux Villages, for the interest shown in our actions and for this very enriching initiative for all. Many thanks also to Mr Takatsu for the simultaneous translations.<\/p>\n\n
