Located in a meander of Eau Blanche River, five kilometers from Chimay, the village is an ideal trekking base from witch a region of varied landscapes can be discovered.

The parish church of St Nicolas, Gothic Revival style, occupies the site of the primitive chapel. The long silhouette of the village presents a simple habitat structure, composed of building from the 18th and 19th centuries. Between two houses, a steep public path will bring you to the "Camp Romain" vantage point, on top of the anticline forcing a sharp curve of the river.
To be eligible for eternal rest, a Roman soldier dececed in a foreign land is to be buried with yew seed... Maybe it can explain the spontaneous growth - unique in Belgium - of these trees under our climate.
