Maredsous Abbey

Receive a traditional welcome from Benedictine monks.

Saint-Joseph Visitor Centre includes a spacious café where you can try the traditional products made at Maredsous Abbey: beers, cheeses, breads, smoked ham sandwiches and other local produce.

To entertain younger guests (under 14s), a new playground meeting the strictest safety standards has been created a short distance from Saint-Joseph Visitor Centre.

The centre is accessible to disabled guests (lift, toilets on the ground floor, access ramp, etc.).

The heritage of Maredsous Abbey. Our gift shop in the right wing of the abbey sells a wide range of religious items: medals, statues, icons, candles, quality handicrafts such as Maredsous ceramics, souvenir gifts and fine food.

Our specialist Christian bookstore and multimedia centre selling classical, secular and religious music will please even the most demanding customers.
