The village of Ny owes its beauty to the blend of Water and Stone. The fountains built against the wall of the church and presbytery in limestone rubble masonry are a wonderful example.
A water-rich area, the village is dotted with streams and limestone rubble masonry fountains lining the main street, which is naturally called Rue des Fontaines. The council don't promise that the water is safe to drink and have even added a 'not drinking water' sign, but the locals still come here to fill their bottles as they always have.
