Siroperie Artisanale d'Aubel
For five generations, the Siroperie Artisanale d'Aubel has been continuing the tradition of syrup making following the old farmhouse recipes of the Pays de Herve.
Although technical advances have facilitated the various handling operations, nothing has changed the ancient traditions. The artisanal syrup is still made in copper vats over a high heat with no added sugar, creating a concentrated juice of pears and apples from local orchards.
At Nyssen, syrup is a family affair, with the expertise passed from generation in generation. And the baton has been passed!
