Fromagerie du Samson
Located near Gesves, Fromagerie du Samson makes a wide range of excellent cheeses using unpasteurized cow's and goat's milk from six local farms.
Vincent Verleyen took over the business in 2011 with the aim of "promoting local production by and for local producers, wherever possible with a short chain." A master cheesemaker, he works with utmost respect for both the consumer and producer. He buys the milk direct from local farmers and pays much higher prices than the industry standard.
